Go to Sewer Page Records Request The City Recorder acts as a compliance officer for state and local statutes including the Government Records Access and Management Act (GRAMA), and the Open and Public Meetings Act. Records requests must be made and submitted to the City Recorder's Office. State law requires the person making the request to include the following: name, mailing address, and daytime telephone number. To receive information, fill out our GRAMA request form and submit it to the office of the City Recorder.   • Emergency Preparedness | Hooper City

    Hooper City Emergency Preparedness Hooper City Emergency Preparedness meetings are held on the 3rd Wednesday of each month from 6:30 - 8:00 PM at the Civic Center. For more information about meetings, email hoopercityemergency@gmail.com . Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) classes are being offered by Weber County. Please reach out to Monica Harding, Hooper City CERT Coordinator at 801-721-7974 for more information about CERT. In January 2024 a group of local volunteers began to implement Hooper's Emergency Preparedness plan using FEMA's National Incident Management System - Incident Command System (https://www.fema.gov/emergency-managers/nims ). This is a large undertaking but something that certainly is essential. To date, the city has been parsed out into four quadrants and 17 areas in total within in the quadrants with the expectation of coordinators for each quadrant and area. The volunteers are now working to further develop our city’s Emergency Plan to be better prepared as a city, families, and individuals. Three Fold Purpose 1. Implement Incident Command System 2. Develop a core of CERT (Certified Emergency Response Team) volunteers. 3. Develop resources, education, and training for family and personal preparedness. 2026 Emergency Preparedness Challenge To help Hooper be better prepared when emergencies arise, we are planning, performing, and perfecting our emergency operation plan. Every citizen is encouraged to participate in the free on-line CERT training.
