Wreaths Across America
We look forward to our first annual Wreaths Across America event in Hooper. A brief ceremony and wreath laying event will be held on Dec 13, 2025, at 10:00 am. More details will be forthcoming in the weeks ahead. For those unfamiliar with this nonprofit, their goal is to remember and honor those who have selflessly served our nation in the armed forces and teach the next generation of their service and sacrifice by placing a beautiful wreath on each grave. We will join millions of fellow Americans on that day honoring our veterans in the Hooper cemetery.
In order to sponsor a wreath, please go to wreathsacrossamerica.org/uthocc and simply choose the number of wreaths to sponsor. We have approx. 450 veterans in our cemetery and the last day to sponsor a wreath is November 28, 2025. If you plan to attend the event and participate in wreath laying, please sign up as a volunteer using this link. Thank you in advance! Mark your calendars, and please spread the word to family and friends to come to the cemetery and help us with what is sure to be a wonderful event.
