Cemetery Service
The Hooper City Cemetery is located at 5290 S 6300 W. The Cemetery office is located at the Hooper City Civic Center. All information concerning the cemetery, including records, purchasing procedure, regulations, etc., shall be obtained from the office. Contact Stefanie Britt at the City Office 9:00 AM - 2:00 PM Monday through Thursday or by email at sbritt@hoopercity.gov for assistance with all cemetery related questions.

Hooper City Cemetery aims to operate and maintain a cemetery that is beautiful, dignified, and an appropriate final resting place for loved ones. Cemetery Rules and Regulations:Â
The cemetery is a place of comfort and serenity for those who are bereaved. Please conduct yourself in an appropriate manner.

1. No dogs. even on a leash or other animals are allowed within the cemetery.
2. No Smoking or alcoholic beverages of any kind are permitted in the cemetery.
3. The speed limit is 10 miles per hour.
4. Glass is not allowed in the cemetery.
5. Funeral flowers, floral pieces, artificial flowers, fresh cut flowers and grave decorations may be removed and discarded without notice when they become unsightly.
6. Flower arrangements and decorations shall be placed on the headstone to allow for routine/weekly maintenance of the lawn and grounds of the cemetery. Any flower or decoration placed on the grass may be discarded without notice for mowing.
7. All Holiday decorations may be removed 7 days following the holiday
8. Complete cleanup of all flowers and grave decorations will be scheduled at the following times:
-The first Monday in March.
-The first Monday in May.
-The Monday following Memorial Day.
-The first Monday in November.
9. The Cemetery claims no responsibility for loss or destruction of personal property left in the cemetery.
10. Unauthorized removal of items from grave sites is theft and will be prosecuted to the full extent of the law.
