Hooper City Stormwater Hooper City is dedicated to maintaining a healthy environment and protecting our waterways through effective stormwater management. Our program focuses on reducing pollution that enters our storm drain system, which flows directly to local creeks and rivers, by implementing continuous monitoring and infrastructure upgrades. We encourage all residents to be active partners in this effort: familiarize yourself with our Stormwater Management Plan (SWMP), which includes new regulations and requirements for development, and utilize the resources on this page to learn how common household activities—like properly disposing of pet waste, avoiding illicit discharges, and carefully using lawn chemicals—directly impact the quality of our water resources. Together, we can prevent pollution and preserve the health of our community and local ecosystem.
