The Hooper City Tomato Days Rodeo is a highlight of the annual Labor Day weekend celebration, drawing contestants and spectators from all over to Hooper, Utah. As a cornerstone of the festival's Western heritage, the main rodeo features a full lineup of traditional events that showcase skill and daring. Crowds can cheer on competitors in events like bull riding, bareback bronc riding, saddle bronc riding, team roping, and barrel racing. The rodeo is known for its energetic atmosphere, bringing together the community to enjoy a display of classic rodeo action under the open sky.
The Pre-Rodeo Event starts at 7 PM and includes two children's events (limited spots available for each):

Calf Riding – Ages 6-11 (Registration for this event is now full)

Mutton Bustin' – Ages 5 and under
Entry fee: $15 per event, paid in full at registration. Checks payable to Hooper City.
Registration: Opens Wednesday, August 5th at 9:30 AM at the City Office Building. Sign-ups remain open through the start of the event, but late entries incur an extra $5 fee.
